Numbers you can trust. Answers you can act on.
We find out why your results are moving, whether your tools are telling you the truth, and what to do about it. Donor and customer insights, a full look at your digital ecosystem, and a plan so you can get reliable answers whenever you need them. Platform-agnostic, plain English, and honest about what the data can't tell you.
30 minutes. You'll leave with the three questions your data should answer first, whether or not we work together.
The Analytics Dilemma
The pressure
Everyone says to be data-driven. Your board, funders, or partners want to know why the number went up or down, and you're expected to have an answer.
The confusion
You have a dozen tools and each shows a different number. Nobody is sure which to believe, who owns it, or what any of it means for next quarter.
The risk
Chasing noise. Deciding from a test too small to mean anything. Reports nobody trusts. Starting from scratch every time someone joins or leaves, and running the same experiment in three departments without knowing it.
The solution
You don't need more data. You need a few numbers you trust, a plan for getting answers when you need them, and someone who'll tell you plainly what the data can't say.
The perils of analytics

Most analytics work picks a side.
Some firms bury you in technical dashboards. Others tell comfortable stories the numbers can't support. We think both are mistakes. Good decisions need careful method and an understanding of the people behind the numbers.

Doing science with business data is hard.
Accidental and deliberate p-hacking. Conclusions drawn too early. Sampling error, cherry-picked date ranges, correlation mistaken for cause, samples too small to matter, and significance thresholds misunderstood. Each one produces a confident answer that happens to be wrong. We bring a researcher's discipline: we tell you how sure we are, and when the honest answer is "not enough data to know yet."

Analysis paralysis is a strategy problem.
Leaders drown in dashboards and reports, then freeze. We build a strategy and plan so you can reliably and reasonably get answers to your questions whenever you need them, without reading everything.

The number is almost never just the number.
A metric is a story told inside a small society: your team and its culture. Does your culture let people report honestly? Do incentives bend the figures? Those are people questions, and we address them too, through our Strategy Sessions.

Most tools are set up incorrectly.
Rarely does an expert configure an analytics tool the first time. Usually a well-meaning team member makes it work, which beats nothing. But a review of your setup goes a very long way.

Agencies often come with presumption.
We're platform-agnostic. We work with whatever fits your stack, industry, and culture. If a tool should be added or replaced, we'll say so and explain why.
How we work: Question, Evidence, Answer
Frame the questions
1 week
We start with what you need to decide, not with the data. We interview the people who own the numbers, list your tools and sources, and agree on the handful of questions that matter. You get a clear scope and an honest view of what your data can and can't answer.
Test the evidence
2-4 weeks
We dig in: cleaning and checking the data, testing whether patterns are real or noise, and tracing numbers back to where they come from. We state our confidence at every step and flag anything your sample size can't support.
Deliver and decide
1-2 weeks
You get a written report, a recorded walkthrough, and a short prioritized list of what to do first. We explain every finding in plain English.
How we can help with marketing analytics
Donor Insights
Why is giving going up or down? We run a donor segmentation to show how your base is made up, what moves each group, why people give and why they stop, where your donors come from today, and where more could come from. You get a findings report, a recorded walkthrough, and the actions worth taking first.
Customer Insights
Why is revenue doing what it's doing? Customer segmentation, RFM, and lifetime value analysis. Who your customers are, who comes back and why, what drives a first and a repeat sale, which segments are worth more, and where new customers could be found. You get a findings report, a recorded walkthrough, and a prioritized plan.
Nonprofit pricing available.
Digital Ecosystem Analysis
This is a digital marketing audit of your whole footprint, or just the parts you worry about, to see how each piece performs alone and how the pieces work together. We look for leaks, broken tracking, missed integrations, and opportunities, and we check how each tool was set up. You get a prioritized fix list and a walkthrough.
Nonprofit pricing available.
Analytics Strategy
Marketing analytics and data strategy consulting: a plan for your analytics, not another dashboard. Which tool answers which question, how they connect, the source of truth for each number, who owns what, where your learnings are kept, and which few numbers truly matter. Designed so your organization learns once instead of repeating the same test or starting over when someone leaves.
Nonprofit pricing available.
What moves the price.
The number of records we analyze, the number of systems and tools involved, and the quality of your data. Clean, consistent data takes less time; duplicates, gaps, and tools that don't match take more. We'll confirm scope with you before you commit.
Why this costs more than a quick setup.
A setup priced at a few hundred dollars gives you what an out-of-the-box install gives you, which you could do yourself for free. GA4 is powerful, complex, and endlessly customizable, and the default knows nothing about your business. We build a setup that matches your reality: your goals, your donors or customers, your tools, and your team.
Need something else, such as a one-off question or an ongoing analyst? We'll scope it with you, and we'll tell you if you don't need it.
Rigor is not an add-on.

Honest about certainty.
Every finding comes with how sure we are and why. We use real significance thresholds, check sample sizes before testing, and tell you when you don't have enough data to know yet.

Tool setup reviewed.
We check how your analytics, CRM, email, and payment tools were configured, because most are set up wrong in small ways that skew everything downstream.

Traceable numbers.
Each number in a report traces back to its source, so you can see where it came from and who owns it.

Built for the people who use it.
We interview the team that produces and uses the numbers, so the plan fits how your organization really works.

Platform-agnostic.
We recommend by fit with your stack, budget, industry, and culture, not by what we resell.

Learning that lasts.
We set up a place for what you learn, so the next hire, or the next department, doesn't start from zero.
What you can count on.
- You own your data. Accounts stay in your name, and we document what we touched.
- Plain English. Reports end in recommendations, not jargon.
- Honest scope. If a smaller project or a cheaper tool solves it, we'll say so.
- No lock-in. Everything is documented so your team, or another firm, can carry it on.
- Tell it straight, kindly. We'll name problems in systems and incentives, never blame individuals.
What we won't do.
- Hunt for a result until the numbers say what someone hoped.
- Claim a cause when the data only shows a correlation.
- Run tests your traffic can't support.
- Present a number we can't trace to its source.
- Sell you a new tool you don't need.
For good people doing good work.

Everything you need to know before starting
What is a diagnostic project?
A fixed-scope project that answers specific questions about your donors, customers, or digital setup, and ends with a written report, a recorded walkthrough, and a prioritized list of next steps.
What is a digital marketing audit?
A review of your website, tracking, email, and other channels that shows what works, what leaks, and what to fix first. Ours also checks whether your numbers can be trusted.
What is donor segmentation?
Sorting your donors into groups by how, when, and how much they give, so you can see which groups are growing, shrinking, or at risk of lapsing, and what each responds to.
What is RFM analysis?
A method that scores customers or donors on recency, frequency, and monetary value of their giving or buying. It's a starting point for segmentation, not the whole answer.
How is this different from setting up Google Analytics?
Setup puts tracking in place. A diagnostic checks whether the tracking is right, whether the numbers mean what you think, and whether your tools work together to answer your real questions.
How much data do we need?
Less than you may fear, and sometimes not enough. Part of our job is telling you which questions your data can answer now and which need more time or a different approach.
Which tools do you work with?
Whatever you use. We're platform-agnostic, and we'll recommend changes only when they would help.
What do we need to provide?
Access to the relevant systems and a few conversations with the people who own the numbers. We ask for the least-privileged access wherever possible.
Do you fix what you find?
The report gives you a prioritized list your team can follow. If you want us to make the fixes, we'll quote that separately and credit the project fee.
Can you help with the culture side?
Yes. Very often analytics problems are really communication, culture, conflict, and relational problems. If the real obstacle is how your team reports or uses numbers, our Strategy Sessions help with that.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
Yes. Nonprofit pricing is available; ask when you book.
Do you work with organizations outside Colorado Springs?
Yes. We work with owners and organizations nationwide by video, and we're glad to travel for workshops.
