Website Design & UX · Colorado Springs

A website that works like your best salesperson.

Overview

We design and build websites from scratch, rebuild the ones that underperform, and audit the ones you're not sure about. Every project starts by seeing your site the way a demanding customer would. What you get is clear, fast, secure, and yours.

30 minutes. You'll leave with three things to fix, whether or not we work together.

The Website Dilemma

The pressure

Your website is the first place people look but it no longer says who you really are.

The confusion

Every platform, template, and agency promises results. Nobody tells you what you actually need, what to fix first, or how to measure success.

The risk

A redesign that looks better and converts worse. A site that's slow on a phone, or invisible to search engines and AI assistants. A vendor who built everything and left with the logins. For nonprofits, a board asking why it cost that much.

The solution

You don't need a prettier website. You need a clearer one, built by someone who tells you what to fix first and hands you the keys.

A woman working on a laptop

Beautiful and effective are not opposites.

Most web work picks a side. Some agencies design without ever measuring. Some optimizers test everything and leave the result cold. We think both are mistakes. A site that's clear, fast, and well made earns trust, and trust is what turns a visitor into a call, a donation, or a customer.

‍

We work across design, UX, copy, analytics, SEO, email, and security hygiene, so the pieces fit together instead of working at cross purposes. And we're platform-agnostic: we choose the stack by what you need (who edits it, your budget, performance, and who will maintain it), not by what we happen to sell.

PROCESS

How we work: Audit, Design, Launch

1

Audit and discovery

1-2 weeks

We look at how your site and your customers actually behave: goals, audience, content, analytics, speed, and the places visitors get stuck. For a new build we do the same with your current presence and competitors. You get a clear picture of what's working, what isn't, and what to do first.

2

Design and decide

2-4 weeks

We settle your message, page structure, and visual direction, then choose the platform that fits. We explain each trade-off in plain English, and we'll tell you honestly when a simpler option beats a custom build.

3

Build and launch

3-6 weeks

We build, test for speed, accessibility, and security, preserve your search rankings with proper redirects, and launch. Then we stay close for the first month to catch what real visitors find.
‍
Every project ends with you owning the domain and content, and a short handoff document so anyone can maintain it.

Standard on every project

Built in, not bolted on

A nonprofit volunteer team

Fast

We set a performance budget, optimize images and fonts, and check Core Web Vitals before launch, because a slow site loses visitors before they read a word.

The city of Colorado Springs

Findable

Clean structure, strong titles and descriptions, structured data, and pages that search engines and AI assistants can read. On rebuilds we preserve your rankings with proper redirects.

A marketing team hard at work

Accessible

We build toward WCAG 2.2 AA and test with a keyboard and a screen reader, so more people can use your site, including the ones who can't use a mouse.

A marketing team hard at work

Secure by default

HTTPS, security headers, least-privilege logins, backups, form and spam protection, regular updates, email authentication so your messages reach inboxes, and platform-specific security measures for tools like WordPress.
‍
We're not a certified penetration-testing firm. If you need a formal security assessment or compliance work, we'll refer you to someone who is.

A marketing team hard at work

Strategy-driven

A good website serves your strategy and carries your content. Most get built backwards: the design comes first, and your message gets squeezed to fit it.

We work in the right order. Strategy first, then content, then design, so the site is shaped around what you need to say and who you need to reach.

A marketing team hard at work

Measurable

We set up analytics around the goals that matter to you (a call, a donation, a signup) and capture a baseline before launch.

You'll know what's working, and we won't claim a lift we can't show.

Our commitments

What you can count on.

  • You own your site. Your domain, content, design files, and data belong to you, and your accounts are in your name. If we host or manage something for you, we'll say so in writing and hand it over whenever you ask.
  • ‍No lock-in. A short handoff document means you can leave with your site any time.‍
  • Plain English. Reports end in recommendations, not jargon.‍
  • Honest scope. If a smaller project or a cheaper tool solves it, we'll say so.‍
  • Fair care-plan terms. Month-to-month with 30 days notice.

What we won't do.

‍

‍

  • Sell you a redesign you don't need.
  • Hold your domain or accounts hostage.
  • Launch without a speed, accessibility, and security check.
  • Promise rankings or conversion lifts we can't control.
  • Run A/B tests your traffic can't support.
Who we work with

For good people doing good work.

A nonprofit volunteer team

Nonprofits doing more with less

Your site has to tell your story, make giving easy, and be simple for a small team to maintain, all on a tight budget. We build sites that staff and volunteers can actually update, with clear donor paths, accessibility built in, and no surprise logins or lock-in, so your board can see where the money went.

The city of Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs businesses that want a real partner

You want someone local who understands your business, not a faceless agency or another software login. We're based in Colorado Springs and work with owners in person, from the first audit to launch day.

A marketing team hard at work

Values-driven businesses, anywhere in the U.S.

You've built a business that takes care of its customers and its people, and you want a website that says so. We work remotely with owners across the country who see their website as a way to serve people better.

FAQ

Everything you need to know before starting

What is brand strategy, and how is it different from a logo?

A logo is how your brand looks. Brand strategy is what it means: your values, promises, culture, and personality, and how they show up in every interaction. We do the logo, colors, and typeface too, but only after the meaning is settled.

Do we need a brand strategy if we already have a logo?

Often yes, and often without a new logo. Many organizations have a logo and no shared answer to what the brand stands for. If your logo is working, we'll say so and leave it alone.

What is a brand audit, and what will it find?

We inventory the places your brand shows up, every version of your logo, voice, and message in circulation, and compare your internal documents with how people actually perceive you. Clients are usually surprised by how many versions of their brand exist and how differently people inside the organization describe it. You get a written report and a walkthrough call.

How does the workshop work?

It runs a minimum of two 3-hour sessions with the people who shape and carry your brand. We can come to your location, use one of our spaces in Colorado Springs, find a venue, or run it over Zoom. In person is better, and we're glad to travel.

How long does a brand strategy project take?

The workshop is a minimum of two 3-hour sessions. Total timelines depend on your team size and how much brand debt the audit turns up, so we give you a realistic estimate after the audit.

How much does brand strategy cost?

Starting prices: Brand Audit $2,900, Brand Strategy Workshop $5,300, Brand Alignment $900 a month, and Visual Identity $4,800. Final cost depends on team size and how much brand debt we find. Nonprofit pricing is available.

What is brand governance, and what does Brand Alignment do?

Brand governance is how an organization keeps its brand consistent as people, channels, and programs change. Brand Alignment is our version: a rolling audit of your touchpoints, a ranked list of the gaps between aspiration and reality, and steady work to close them.

Who designs our logo and visual identity?

An artist chosen for you, after the substance of your brand is settled. We don't apply one house style to every client. Artist and design costs are included in our proposals.

Can you research brand recognition and sentiment?

Sometimes. If your organization is large enough or has an adequate footprint, we can add market research on recognition and sentiment. We assess viability case by case and give you honest guidance either way. It's an add-on, quoted separately.

Do you offer nonprofit pricing?

Yes. Nonprofit pricing is available; ask when you book.

Do you work with organizations outside Colorado Springs?

Yes. We work with mission-driven organizations nationwide, and we're glad to travel for workshops or run them remotely.
